Who am I?
Eric Schraedley is a multidisciplinary artist whose work embodies the essence of mindfulness, balance, and the natural world. Primarily a painter, he often incorporates elements of sculpture and music, allowing inspiration to guide his choice of medium. This fluidity reflects his belief in the power of presence and the importance of embracing the moment.
Often drawing from the tranquility found in nature, Eric captures the intricate dance of light, color, and form. Each brushstroke is a meditation, an exploration of how mindfulness influences creativity. His paintings invite viewers to pause, breathe, and engage with the present, fostering a deeper connection to both the artwork and the surrounding environment.
Philosophy plays a significant role in Eric’s artistic journey. He often contemplates concepts such as balance and harmony, which manifest in the compositions of his work. Whether through the gentle curves of a sculpture or the rhythm of a musical piece, his creations resonate with a sense of equilibrium that reflects his understanding of life’s complexities.
In every piece, Eric aims to create a space where viewers can experience stillness and reflection, encouraging them to find their own moments of mindfulness amidst the chaos of everyday life. His art is not just a visual experience; it is an invitation to connect, to breathe, and to be fully present.
Eric is based out of West Chester, PA and trained at the Fleisher Art Institute in Philadelphia.
